Mothering looks & feels different for everyone.

The Mothers I hold space for in my 1to1's often need to release a truck load of guilt they feel about loving their career & not preferring to be at home with their baby 24/7. Their voice drops to almost a whisper as they tell me their truth, like they are speaking dirty words.

Over my life I have heard many a mother say - I am a better mother for continuing to work. And I believe them. The ones who eventually can say it confidently are usually the mums of multiple children.

So at this time of the year where there are many posts about missing children going back to school, share this with a Mother who you know loves her career, her need for space & essentially creating something for herself.

This is not selfish - this is wisdom creating balance & permission in their truth for the future mothers in their line, should they need it, to love & embrace who they are & how they best Mother.
